Trust:Almost all IRC networks have a limit to the number of clients that can connect from one IP at the same time, so that you can't load 10 clones of yourself on the network. If that limit is reached, you are usually given a warning, and if that limit is exceeded after the warning, you may be g-lined from the network. In some cases, however, people need to connect more than that limit, such as if they are at a LAN party. In that situation, a user can ask a network staff member to issue a "trust" for that IP. The trust will allow more people to connect even though they have the same IP.
